Sybil from a local Home Depot store in New York volunteers her time at a local community center. She received a heartbreaking request from a parent of two young girls who asked if The Home Depot could give her some plywood that she could rest on milk crates as a bed for her children. She told Sybil they were sleeping on bundles of clothing on the floor.

When Jerry, a Millwork associate from a Home Depot store in Phoenix, Arizona helped a young student with a science project, he had no idea that their efforts would end up wowing the President in the White House Dining Room.
Jerry had helped 14-year-old Joey with previous science projects.
“This time he wanted to build a pneumatic cannon to shoot marshmallows from his back yard for critters to eat,” Jerry said.
