I dont know anything about "HD rips folks off daily", as I am a pretty wise consumer, and seldom find things elsewhere at at better price (it does happen occasionally). What I am VERY familiar with however is how generous this company is in regards to donating time, building materials, and money to charities. Many of these charities then turn around and "build a house or two" (or rather a few thousand, but I am not one to split hairs). The best part about what they do in our neighborhoods is that they do it in a humble fashion. You will not see Home Depot making a big deal in the newspapers or on TV about what they do. I suppose everyone is entitled to their own opinion (this being mine) but im not sure if the comment posted above is from someone who is familiar with just how great a steward to the community Home Depot is!

I was happy to hear that all Three of the Femma partners worked to supply support during this emergency. With Home Depots unending support and help we of the Salvation Army Disaster Services Units along with the Red Cross are always their to help when needed. I was trained in Florida with the Salvation Army before assigned to the miner rescue in Summerset PA which was also where the 3rd plane incident occured exactly 8 years ago today so I know how important it is to have all the help necessary during National and local emergencies.
