Omaha Customer Races the Aisles with Joey Logano

More than 80,000 people took a “Get to Know Logano” quiz about our new NASCAR driver, Joey Logano, on homedepotracing.com. Customer Darlene from Omaha was the lucky winner, after answering questions about Joey and being selected at random from all the entries.

Darlene won a $2,000 shopping spree at her local Home Depot store, and time with her very own personal shopper – Joey! Joey picked up Darlene from her home and drove her to store 3201, where they had lunch prepared by one of our associates on a brand new Weber grill. During lunch Joey told Darlene the new grill was also hers to take home! Then the pair took off on her shopping spree on a golf cart decorated to look like Joey’s No. 20 Toyota. With Joey as chauffeur, Darlene asked to stop first in Hardware, “I need a chainsaw,” she said.

Store associates really went out of their way to make Darlene’s shopping spree a special event, setting up “Price is Right” style games for the chance to win even more prizes. Darlene scored an additional $1,700 in products!
