Store Earns Salute from Arkansas Air National Guard

Arkansas National Guard honors store 1404 Home Depot Store 1404 in Fort Smith, Ark., and Store Manager Regenia Cofer recently received some well-deserved recognition from the Arkansas Air National Guard 188th Fighter Squadron (The Flying Razorbacks).

The squadron recognized Store 1404 for providing exceptional support to men and women serving in the Guard. The unit’s community liaison representative and the commanding officer presented Regenia and the store with a certificate designating The Home Depot as a Patriotic Employer. They also presented Regenia with an official unit coin.

They thanked Regenia for being flexible with work schedules and for supporting all the spouses who have significant others currently serving both at home and overseas.

Other Home Depot stores have also earned the Patriotic Employer Award, including our store in Quincy, Mass., earlier this year.

The Patriotic Employer award is given to supportive managers, supervisors or companies to show appreciation from a military-member employee. Employers are recognized for maintaining benefits and keeping in touch throughout a deployment, maintaining salaries and offering support, and for recognizing the military-member employee’s military service.
