Associates from Florida Celebrate 15+ years of Service

More than 100 associates from one district in Florida celebrated 15 years or moreHow long have you worked at your current job? 5 years? A decade? Home Depot district 9 in Southwest Florida recently held an event to bring together associates from the area with 15 years or more with the company. More than 100 associates attended the event, including one who has been with Home Depot for 26 years (not bad for a company that is only 30 years old).

During the event, the district celebrated its successes in the first half of the year and made a call to action to meet the challenges in the second half. Associates enjoyed a tasty buffet and a deejay kept the event rolling. Associates also received personal certificates and won prizes for “Home Depot Trivia” questions.

The Home Depot associates were praised not just for their tenure, but for their outstanding achievements in customer service and their roles as leaders on their local store teams.

District Manager Don Jones greets the associates“The associates who attended know what legendary service is all about and made a personal commitment to inspire top-notch service in others,” said Mark Wilke, District 9 Human Resources Director.

Home Depot’s District 9 includes 9 stores in Southwest Florida, from Port Charlotte to Naples.
