In honor of September 11

Home Depot associates across the U.S. participate in many meaningful projects to honor those lost in the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001. Team Depot volunteers worked tirelessly on Saturday in support of the National Day of Service and Remembrance. In just a few examples, associates in Louisville, Ky., and New Albany, Ind., worked with Service for Peace to build raised garden beds at eight firehouses within the district. And in Tucson, Ariz., Team Depot associates partnered with Habitat for Humanity for a local “Building Freedom” event. READ MORE >

Welcoming Troops Home

Home Depot associates support the military in many different ways. Here are two terrific examples of how our Home Depot stores rolled out a big orange welcome for troops returning home.

District 71 in New Hampshire created a relationship with a fantastic local organization called the Pease Greeters, which welcomes home the troops from Iraq and Afghanistan as they make their landing at Pease Airport in Portsmouth, N.H. READ MORE >
