Many children at the local Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL were able to experience the joy of The Home Depot’s Kid’s Workshop thanks to Maudie, an associate at Home Depot store 6920 who seems to know everyone in the tri-county area. After receiving the suggestion from Operations Manager, Brian, to take the workshop on the road, Maudie took this great idea and made all of the arrangements to make it happen. READ MORE >

When the Army needed some electrical training, they came to The Home Depot, store 6976 in Miami, Fla. The class was taught by our Master Trade Specialist, Gordon. Mayleen, also from store 6976, coordinated the clinic at the request of the local U.S. Army Reserve Base. READ MORE >

December 10, 2009 was proclaimed The Home Depot Foundation Day by the New York State Assembly. The official State Citation was presented at a ribbon cutting for a new WNY AmeriCorps “Framing Hope Warehouse” in Buffalo. READ MORE >
