The Mayor of Raleigh, N.C., recognized Home Depot District 323 at a council meeting this month. More than 130 Team Depot volunteers had worked together this fall to transform Lane Street Park in Raleigh. Associates from Store 1244 in Greece, NY came together to help a former associate who had recently lost the use of his legs. Six associates got together on their own to build their friend and former co-worker a ramp that would improve accessibility into his home. READ MORE >
Home Depot Store #2901 in Gulfport, Miss., has vowed to have a healthy winter. Workers at the store were among the more than 75,000 Home Depot associates who took advantage of free flu clinics last month. Human Resources Manager Allison Barlow reports the store is also taking advantage of company programs to minimize the spread of germs in common areas. READ MORE >
