When lot associate André from Store 1749 in Austell, Georgia, was returning from lunch, he didn’t hesitate to walk over to a stray cart in the parking lot.
“I went over to push the cart back into the store when I saw a wallet. I didn’t open it, but handed it in at the Service Desk,” André said.
André went back outside and was helping a customer load items into his vehicle when another customer suddenly approached and asked if he had found a wallet. André confirmed he had just turned it over to the Service Desk.
A few minutes later, the customer came back to thank André for retrieving his wallet and started to hand him some cash as a reward.

Red isn’t the only color of love. Snohomish, Wa store associates Jose and Charlie proved that orange was definitely their color of love when they tied the knot inside of their store in April. Having met at The Home Depot they couldn’t think of a more appropriate place to say “I do”, and they were even married by Quanah Shane, Store Manager of 4745.

Store Manager Ryan Knight, at Store 6687 in Bakersfield, California, came across an elderly customer in the shelving aisle looking at cedar lining. She told Ryan she wanted to line a large wooden chest for storing quilts.
“When I asked her if she would be able to cut the pieces herself, she retorted, ‘You don’t think a 74-year-old lady can operate a saw?’ ” Ryan said. “I had this vision of her sawing the pieces of cedar, so I told her to bring in the chest, and we would do it for her.”
